Hello Councilmembers!

Our October General Meeting is right around the corner, scheduled for Monday, October 18 at 7:00 pm.
This month, we have several representatives from Puget Sound Energy presenting, and they will also be taking community questions during the meeting.
We will also be hearing from Major Joe Hodgson with an update from the Sheriff’s Department.
A motion will be proposed to have VMICC endorse updated building codes being considered for approval by the King County Council. These new building codes would restrict most uses of fossil fuels in new commercial and large multi-family buildings in unincorporated King County.
We will also be discussing the ongoing challenges with the ferries, and implications if they continue.

Our meeting will be held on Zoom this month, as opposed to WebEx. You’ll find the link below, as well as the proposed agenda. The draft minutes from last month’s meeting and presentations from that meeting are at this link:  Please review them prior to Monday evening’s meeting.
See you all there!
